Originally intended for show and breeding, Echo developed Cat Acne (yes there is such a thing in adolescent Abyssinians!). We decided to hold her back and breed her after getting some very positive and promising reports about her as a kitten at the Yorkshire and Cumberland Shows in Nov 21.

Echo will be entered into further shows but our timing with her pregnancies and our availability at shows really sucked in 22/23. Hopefully we get her to the place she is worthy of in terms of some Challenge Certificates.
Sorcerer Silver Echo aka Echo.
She came to us from Val Andrews in Hampshire who mentored me with Abyssinian Breeding and Showing. What a wonderful supportive mentor Val is. Echo came to us and we soon taught her to retrieve however she would only do it for us with screwed up silver foil balls and in our bedroom!
Intensely bonded to Phil; Echo prefers to have her litters as close to him as possible . This means she always gets her pen put by his side of the bed. Echo is a protective and proficient mother who teaches her kittens to be confident and to groom themselves well.
Its not unusual for Echo to feed our other kittens too. How amazing is that?
Her favourite activity is to use the cat wheel and train on it in fast and furious bursts. Hence she is a compact muscular lady who dosnt suffer any fools!
We intend to keep showing Echo but our timing with her pregnancies and feeding her kittens has sucked!
