Westford Ashby

Westford Ashby aka Ashby is our first home grown cat. She is a Usual Silver and is showing some promise at cat shows. She is on her way to gaining a third Challenge Certificate. However, we plan to breed from Ashby in the next few months. Hopefully, if all goes well kittens will be due late 2023.  She is as intelligent as her mother Luna. She is trainable and has learnt to sit on command. Ruby has taught her to jump onto her on command too! I have no doubts that Luna’s fine personality is trickling through this line.

Ashby is extremely playful and food driven. She could crack a safe open with her skills at the puzzle trays. She thinks she owns the landing space upstairs and specifically our floor to ceiling cat tree where she can sleep and spy on everyone. Ashby also likes the cat wheel and the outdoors too. Her brother and sisters are lead walked and have settled in well with other big cats in their homes, Maine Coons and Bengals.

Ashby has been doing well and has excellent type. She does have some tarnishing but this hasn’t detracted from us enjoying her as a pet, and showing her.
